A rich, layered white with cooked apples and cream and praline and pie-crust undertones. Hints of toffee, too. Full and layered, but so well integrated and delicious. Pretty finish. Stylish blend of viognier, chardonnay, vermentino, roussanne and marsanne.

"An easygoing and juicy wine: closer to Chianti than to Montalcino or Montepulciano for its agility and fragrance of the fruit, but with relax and aromatic exuberance from Val d'Orcia. Tonic and tasty, floral and slightly spicy, it's best on a plate of tagliolini with black summer truffles, but it is a passepartout for a large part of the local cuisine."
